Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula Training
This certification training includes 12 in-depth modules spanning over 96 lessons and an additional 80 hours of practical hands-on training in sacred Ayurvedic Postpartum Caregiving.
Each lesson contains a pre-recorded lecture and accompanying lecture slides along with recommended readings for in-depth self-study. We group for in-person tutorials each module to cover practical experience and live demonstrations and have additional periodical workshops for remaining hands-on clinical hours.

Module One
Introduction and Fundamentals
of Ayurveda
Learn the fundamental principles of Ayurvedic Medical science, its sacred & divine origins and rich, deep history. Learn about elemental energetics and how the body uses food to build tissues and bodily systems and how the human body functions through the lens of Ayurveda.
Module Two
Herstory & Ayurvedic Postpartum Principles
Discover the benefits & importance of an Ayurvedic postpartum sacred window and how the ancient ways can support your clients through their first 6 weeks as a new Mama. Deep dive into our vast herstory and ancient Vedic traditions.
Module Three
The Pillar of Rest in
Sacred Window Healing
Learn how to create sacred healing space for new mamas and the significance of an Ayurvedic cocoon. How the 42 day confinement window following birth can allow a Mama to truly rest and reset her nervous system, helping her body to nourish and heal deeply to regenerate from within.
Module Four
The Pillar of Dietetics in
Sacred Window Healing
Learn the key principles of Ayurvedic nutrition, how to utilise tongue analysis & remedy support foods. Gain practical cooking experience on key postpartum recipes to nourish new Mamas, along with knowledge on how to set up your food delivery service and where to source all of your supplies.

The Pillar of Herbal Medicine in Sacred Window Healing
Learn how to master the craft of preparing beautiful Ayurvedic herbal preparations for postpartum healing, including traditional oil and medicated ghee making methods. Know the role herbal medicine plays in postpartum care and which classical herbal preparations for supporting Mamas during their sacred window
Module Six
The Pillar of Bodywork
in Sacred Window Healing
In this module you will receive practical training in warm oil Ayurvedic Postpartum massage, how to wrap and belly bind your newborn Mamas after birth, how to craft ceremonial herbal baths which herbal blends to use for specific purposes. Gain insights on moving energies within the body through an intro to Marma chikitsa, taking your healing practice to a whole new level.
Module Seven
Personalised Care
& Ameliorations
In this module, we cover all kinds of trouble shooting and remedies for the bumps in the road you may experience during the early weeks post-birth. Learn how to care for c-section Mamas, or those on the other side of loss, learn how to navigate the hospital system as an Ayurdoula and acquire support strategies for many variations you may encounter during the postpartum period.
Module Eight
Business Energetics: Design &
Nurture your AyurDoula Business
In this module you will begin to piece together the foundations of your illustrious AyurDoula business! Whilst you are training and from it's very inception right through to birthing a beautiful, soulful AyurDoula practice. You will learn how to formulate beautiful offerings and embody your brand whilst you train, so you are confident and ready to take on clients!

Elevate and expand your doula practice by providing well educated advice and care during pregnancy as well as postpartum. Learn the importance of Ojas in late pregnancy, support your birthing Mamas with simple dietary measures, herbal remedies and ceremonial rituals heading into birth

Preparation Principles
Learn how Ayurveda prepares the body and the mind for birth; learn therapies to prepare the perineum and tissues for safe delivery, and what to actually have on hand for birth for your clients and how birth is considered a sacred initiation through gateways of transformation

Sacred Baby Care
Learn the sacred rituals of Ayurvedic care for newborn babies and how to guide your Mamas in caring for their bubs in their tender early weeks of life. From cleansing and bathing traditions to massage and Mamas milk supply, this beautiful time is sacred and these teachings aim for a strengthened start and secure bonding between mama and babe.
Module Twelve
Ritual & Reverence for
Gentle Beginnings
In this module we dive into the spiritual aspects of Ayurvedic Birth keeping - from meditation and pranayama to Hinduism and significant deities that are inextricably interwoven through Ayurvedic care principles. This module will provide depth and a new found reverence for eastern traditions.
